Terms and brand notice

Short answer: This site is run by a seller that buys from workshops; it is not affiliated with any of the brands named on it. Brand names appear only to describe what a style is modelled on. The terms below are the ones we trade on.

What is our relationship to the brands named here?

None. Louis Vuitton, Gucci and every other name on this site are trademarks of their owners. We are not authorised, sponsored or endorsed by them, and nothing here is presented as their product.

What do we promise about a product page?

Each page states the grade, the price and what changes between grades. Photographs are of the unit we hold. If we do not have our own photographs of a piece, the page says photographs are pending rather than borrowing someone else's image.

What if you are a rights holder?

Write to us with the URL and the claim. We will remove or correct the line without argument — the same policy we apply on the sourcing page.

Who is behind this site?

Leather House is a two-person seller based at the Zhanxi wholesale district in Guangzhou, China (Zhanxi, Yuexiu District). We buy from one workshop and sell what that workshop makes; we do not manufacture and we do not speak for any brand. The street address on the parcel is the workshop's dispatch point and is printed on your order page, not invented per order.

What is the limit of our liability?

For any claim connected to an order, our total liability is capped at the amount you actually paid for that order. We do not exclude liability for the things a seller cannot exclude by law, and we do not ask you to give up a statutory right by ordering. Where a parcel is seized, lost in transit or arrives damaged, the shipping page and the returns page already say we carry it — that promise sits inside this cap only in the sense that the remedy is a remake or a refund, never more than what you paid.

Which law applies, and where would a dispute be heard?

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and a dispute that cannot be settled in writing would be heard by the courts of Guangzhou, Guangdong. Before that, we ask for 30 days of written good-faith negotiation — in practice almost everything is a photograph, a refund or a remake, and it is settled in days.

What can change, and when?

Prices, grades and shipping terms can change; the version that applies to your order is the one confirmed in writing at the time you paid, and it does not move afterwards. If we change a page after your order, your order keeps the old terms. Anything we edit on a page that names a workshop stays visible on the sourcing page with a date.
